Because a 5-page marketing site and a full e-commerce platform with inventory management are completely different projects. A Starter site takes 1 to 2 weeks, a custom platform takes 6 to 12 weeks. The range gives you a realistic idea of where your project might sit. Once we discuss the details, I give you an exact number in the quote.
